ServicesVoice Therapy
Your voice is shaped by how you breathe, move, and feel. My approach blends clinical expertise with body awareness to help you reconnect to your voice with strength, ease, and authenticity.
— What Is Voice Therapy?Reclaim ease, clarity, and confidence.
Voice therapy is a medically recognized speech therapy service, covered by insurance, designed to treat diagnosed voice disorders. I collaborate with ENTs (Ear, Nose, and Throat doctors) to provide comprehensive voice evaluations and evidence-based therapy for a range of conditions, including:
Muscle Tension Dysphonia (MTD)
Vocal Nodules and Polyps
Chronic Vocal Fatigue
Paradoxical Vocal Fold Motion (PVFM/PVFD)
Gender-Affirming Voice Training
Parkinson’s-related Voice Changes
Presbyphonia (age-related voice changes)
My approach integrates clinical voice therapy with a body-led lens to support lasting, functional change — not just in how your voice sounds, but how it feels.
If your voice feels off, strained, or disconnected from who you are, you don’t have to push through it alone.
— My ApproachA body-led, evidence-based path to lasting vocal change.
What sets my voice therapy apart is where we begin — not just with assessments, but with curiosity, body awareness, and deep respect for your lived experience.
I combine evidence-based methods like vocal function exercises, breath retraining, and manual therapy with a body-led lens that supports lasting, functional change. This work is structured and goal-oriented, but also deeply attuned — focused on uncovering root causes, not just managing symptoms. Clients often describe our work as effective, informative, and even playful.
Sessions may include:
Targeted therapeutic exercises based on your diagnosis
Breath and posture strategies that support efficient voicing
Gentle manual techniques to reduce tension and restore ease
A collaborative space where your input shapes the process
Whether you’re recovering from injury, managing a voice disorder, or navigating long-term vocal changes, I bring clinical skill, body-based insight, and a deep belief in your voice’s capacity to heal and thrive.
— Who I Work WithFor people who want to feel at home in their voice.
I love working with professional voice users—singers, teachers, public speakers—who rely on their voice daily and want to build more ease, power, and longevity in how they use it.
I also have a special place in my practice for older adults with presbyphonia and individuals recovering from illness or injury who want to reclaim their voice and confidence.
Clients who benefit most from my work are often:
Open to using singing as a therapeutic tool
Kinesthetic learners who understand or are curious about how their body moves and feels
People who value body-mind connection and want to integrate voice work with emotional and physical awareness
While I welcome all individuals, those who enjoy connecting with their body and emotions tend to feel most at home in our sessions—and often experience rapid, meaningful progress.
— What To Expect With Voice TherapyClarity, care, and a path created just for you.
Our work begins with a thorough assessment — not just of your voice, but of how it affects your daily life. We’ll explore your history, symptoms, and goals to uncover root causes and build a treatment plan that’s functional, individualized, and evidence-based.
From there, we’ll move through a structured series of sessions designed to help you build healthier, more sustainable vocal habits. Sessions may include:
Sessions may include:
Semi-occluded vocal tract exercises (like straw phonation or blowing bubbles into water)
Breath retraining to support vocal efficiency
Gentle movement and stretching to release tension
Manual therapy techniques to address restriction in the jaw, neck, or laryngeal area
Daily home exercises to help reinforce progress
I also have specialized training in orofacial myofunctional therapy. For clients with persistent tension or fatigue, we may explore whether issues like oral posture or tongue tie are contributing to your voice concerns — and create a separate plan if needed.
Over time, you can expect to feel more ease, clarity, and confidence in your voice—along with a deeper understanding of how your vocal system functions and heals.
“My voice has already improved in the two months I've worked with her.”
I do voice work with Anita. She's very pleasant to work with, and very knowledgeable. She explains the physiology of the mouth and throat as it relates to the production of sound. She has me do things that are interesting and within my ability. My voice has already improved in the two months I've worked with her. I can highly recommend her.

Voice therapy focuses on improving how your voice works — how it sounds, feels, and functions. Myofunctional therapy addresses patterns in the mouth, tongue, jaw, and breathing that may be contributing to tension or dysfunction. I often integrate both approaches to support long-term healing and more freedom in how your voice feels and performs.

My work is both grounded and intuitive. I draw on clinical training, decades of teaching voice, and my own healing journey. While I follow evidence-based protocols, I also listen closely — to you, your body, and the subtle cues that often get overlooked. My goal is to help you reconnect with your voice through curiosity, play, and deep trust in your body’s wisdom.
